Where it stands
Checked against the real Cloudflare account since October 2026: zone and record inventory, and A records for site and preview addresses. Adding zones (D69) is tested against recorded API behaviour only and needs Zone:Edit.
The key to create
An API token (not the global API key), limited to the zones you want to use:

Give each key the smallest access that works. Keys are encrypted at rest, only decrypted for the job that needs them, and never shown again after you save them.
